“Children are like tiny flowers; they are varied and need care, but each is beautiful alone and glorious when seen in the community of peers.”
— Friedrich Froebel
Children are particularly sensitive to their environment and emotions around them. How many children do you know who find it difficult to express their feelings or even pinpoint what is stressing them? Kinesiology is a practical, effective and quick method that uses safe and non-invasive techniques to help a child release any emotional stress, enabling them to express themselves. At each session, issues will be unravelled, one by one, to quickly determine possible causes of any symptoms so that these can be focused upon rather than the symptoms themselves.
Underlying causes of symptoms can be emotional but can also be due to chemical, nutritional, structural or electro-magnetic imbalances. The Kinesiologist considers all of these contributing factors so that balance and harmony can be achieved for the individual.
Helping children using kinesiology when they are young to help with physical and emotional issues can not only help them gain their confidence but also improve their wider relationship with the world. Amanda Shipton, Founder of KinSo Health says “working with children is so rewarding as they react really positively to kinesiology. They seem to enjoy muscle testing as they can feel the positive impact kinesiology has on them straight away and for me this is hugely beneficial. Children know when they do not feel well or are struggling mentally and sometimes they find it hard to put these feelings into words. But with kinesiology and muscle testing we can often get to the bottom of issues a child may have, without the child needing to find the exact words. Kinesiology is so amazing in this respect, allowing many anxieties to be released. Hearing from parents how a child has improved after a kinesiology session is the best job-satisfaction you can achieve by far.”
We want our children to have the best start in life, to move forward without anxiety and stress. By consulting a Kinesiology Practitioner at KinSo Health we can help restore balance for the child early on in their life, limiting symptoms that they can potentially carry through to their adult lives and helping families to achieve greater harmony.

Client Feedback
“Amanda has a calm, reassuring and professional approach. Both myself and my two sons ( ages 12 & 9) have really benefitted from kinesiology. For myself it helped with stress and anxiety and for the boys it really helped them to deal with the death of a close relative and the issues that threw up including anxiety and sleep problems. The blend of talking, nutrition and massage was just what we all needed.”

“Mandy immediately put my son’s nerves at ease and her naturally maternal and friendly approach ensured she had his trust from the moment he stepped through the door. My son found it easy to open up and talk freely to Mandy…After just a one hour treatment, we left understanding the issues behind the initial problems. My son was totally different and normal life, sleep patterns and fun returned .”

I took my 8 year old son to see Mandy, as he was having trouble sleeping. It had gone on for a few months but had started to affect his day to day life.
He would become extremely unsettled on car journeys without the Sat Nav set, and was becoming withdrawn. A friend suggested I take him to see Mandy as she may be able to use kinesiology to help understand what was wrong.
Mandy immediately put my son’s nerves at ease and her naturally maternal and friendly approach ensured she had his trust from the moment he stepped in the door.
Mandy has a lovely treatment room within her house and the environment is very private and calming.
Mandy explained everything to my son in appropriate language and helped him to understand the process.
My son found it easy to open up and talk freely to Mandy and I was given the option to stay or sit downstairs.
After just one hour of treatment, we left understanding the issues behind the initial problems. My son was totally different and normal life, sleep patterns and fun returned.
We have not needed to return, but I am now safe in the knowledge that if/when he needs some help again, or just needs another person to talk to, outside of the family, Mandy will be our first choice.
In a world where our children are faced with so much pressure, this is great reassurance to me.
I would not hesitate to recommend Mandy.
