Food Sensitivity and Digestion.

It is important to recognise that there is no such thing as a food that is good or bad for everyone. Some people are said to have the constitution of an Ox and for others they may react to what may be considered good food. We are all biochemically different and a food that may be nourishing to one person, may well be harmful to another.

There is no such thing as a universal diet which suits everyone, everyone is different.

For some people they can have an immediate adverse reaction from eating something or from being in contact with a chemical. However for many, food sensitivities can be a hidden problem or a quantity overload problem and there are no obvious symptoms from eating them. Sensitivities often give us delayed symptoms so we are unsure what is the cause. Symptoms like feeling tired all of the time, headaches, bloating, pain, joint ache, loose or constipated stools, bad skin, low mood and many more. Ringing a bell?

When someone eats something that they are sensitive to day in day out, quite often there is no apparent connection to the adverse effect it is having on their health. Long term it may be actually doing a lot of harm to their whole system.

At the KinSo Health I take a professional approach to clients’ requests for assistance with food sensitivities. My aim is to always look for the root cause so that a long term solution to aiding clients to heal can be found. When a client enquires about food intolerances, the tools and techniques of kinesiology are applied to not only understand which foods the client’s body is unhappy with at that moment in time, but more importantly it is used to understand what might be causing the intolerance in the first place. Approaching symptoms in this way allows clients to repair and heal from the inside out and supports the body in achieving healing in the longer term.

During a kinesiology session, once the body has been balanced I look at which foods may not be serving the client well. Not only do I look at what temporarily may have to come out of the diet, but also what nutrition may need to be put in! Using kinesiology I can muscle test foods against an individual to help someone find out what it is that is holding them back from radiant health. This method of food sensitivity testing takes the guesswork out of balancing a diet.
